Welcome to Coastlands Community Primary School – where curiosity grows into confidence, and every child is encouraged to ‘REACH’ for their best.
At Coastlands, REACH isn’t just a word. it’s the heart of everything we do. It stands for Respect, Endeavour, Achieve, Creativity, and Happiness—values that guide our learning, our relationships, and our school community every single day.
Nestled in the beautiful village of St Ishmaels and serving the surrounding communities of Dale, Marloes, Herbrandston, Waterston, and St Brides, our school is a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them.
Since opening in 1999, Coastlands has grown into a vibrant, inclusive school with a strong sense of community and a deep commitment to sustainability. Our stunning grounds, outdoor learning spaces, and eco-friendly ethos (including multiple Platinum Eco Awards!) make Coastlands a truly special place to learn and grow.
We believe that learning should be exciting, meaningful, and full of joy. Whether it’s through creative play, outdoor adventures, sport, or hands-on projects, our children are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate every step of their journey.
We’re proud to work in partnership with our families and local community to give every child the best possible start. Whether you’re already part of our school family or thinking of joining us, we hope this website gives you a glimpse into the warmth, energy, and ambition that make Coastlands CP School such a wonderful place to be.
