It’s been a great day to finish our term at Coastlands.
The children enjoyed our “pupil pipeline” today, moving water from our water butts and hosepipe down to the school pond. A lovely way to reinforce the message of looking after precious water.
We also enjoyed a picnic outside to finish off our time together. Many thanks to those that were able to join us. A great end to a very warm and humid term!
Many thanks from me for your support, your engagement and, of course, the pleasure of working with your children this year. The school has worked hard to make progress against the recommendations left by the inspection team last year and, as we have moved through the year, we have continued to tackle these things head on.
It is the super manners, caring attitude and enthusiastic work of the children that has helped us to remain inspired and enthused during a challenging year. Thank you so much! I will miss the children so much. I hope that in the long term, under Mrs Groves’ continued leadership, you will see the benefits of the foundations we have laid this year.
Have a wonderful summer. Stay safe, have fun and best of luck for the future.
